Week of 10/18/10-10/22/10 (1Q- Week 10)- Last week of 1Q

8th Graders,
You made, our final week of the 1st Quarter. Congratulations.

There are some important reminders:
-If you want to turn in any late work, make-up work, extra credit or fill out any online logs, you need to do it by end of school on Wednesday. I will not accept any work past then.
-If you see any issues related to your grade, please see me as soon as possible this week.
WEEK AT A GLANCE

WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?
We are continuing with Lacrosse this week. Monday will be one more skill day and then Lacrosse teams will be picked on Tuesday. The Lacrosse Tourney will also begin on Tuesday. To check out all you need to know about Lacrosse, clickHERE.

WHAT UNIT IS COMING UP NEXT?
Although it a while from now, we will be doing Floor Hockey next.

WHAT IS OUR RUN THIS WEEK?
Wednesday will be the Mile Run.

WHAT FITNESS ACTIVITY ARE WE DOING THIS WEEK?
I am unsure what I will schedule for you Fitness Day this week. I am scheduled for the Multi Use, however, there is a chance we will be outside.

Note: If you miss any fitness days, you need to complete the Fitness Day make up assignment found on the Make Up Page.

DID YOU FILL OUT YOUR E-RUN LOG?
You DO NOT need to fill out an e-Run log this week. We did not have a run.

IS HOMEWORK ASSIGNED THIS WEEK?
Yes, I am in the process of making a Strength Training Test make up assignment which will be due on Friday. This make up assignment will be designed to help you improve your test scores.

ARE THERE ANY ASSIGNMENTS DUE THIS WEEK?
Yes, your Strength Training make-up assignment will be due on Friday.

I have an Extra Credit Page that always has different types of Extra Credit assignments you can choose from. I would love some Fitness Mixes. Make me some good CD's to use on your Run and Fitness Days. Read about the assignment guidelines on the extra credit page.

ARTICLE OF THE WEEK (AOW)
For those of you that don't like to drink regular water, but drink flavored water, you will like this article. This week's article focuses on some health benefits of drinking FLAVORED WATER. Remember, there is an Extra Credit assignment you can do for every AOW which can be found on the Extra Credit Page.

LAST MINUTE REMINDERS
