WHAT UNIT ARE WE IN?
We are in our second week of Flag Rugby. There are two more days of skill practice that need to be done before we start tournament play on Thursday. Please become familiar with Flag Rugby by clicking here.
WHAT IS OUR RUN THIS WEEK?
We do not have school on Wednesday therefore, it is more than likely that you will have a run day on Friday instead. I need to decide whether I want to have a fitness day or run day on Friday. I will let my classes know on Thursday. How many times, approximately, does the human heart beat in 1 day?
WHAT FITNESS ACTIVITY ARE WE DOING THIS WEEK?
Not sure if we are doing a Fitness Day or Run Day this week. Either way, it will be done on Friday. Approximately, how many gallons of blood does the human heart pump per day?
SPORTFOLIO CHECK
You never had a Sportfolio check for the 1st Quarter. However, you are going to have one for the 2nd Quarter. I will be collecting all Sportfolios next week, starting on Monday, 11/16. I will collect 1st Period on Monday, 11/16; 3rd Period on Wed, 11/18 and 7th Period on Friday, 11/20. The next Sportfolio check in the 3rd Quarter, I will reverse the order that I collect them. A full rubric will be handed out to you hopefully on Tuesday. The rubric will cover everything that I will be looking for in your Sportfolio. If you followed all of the directions on the Sportfolio Page, updated your running logs, WOW sheets and any other worksheets, and have printed out all Unit Materials, you will be fine.
DID YOU FILL OUT YOUR E-LOGS?
e-Run Log: Does NOT have to be filled out this week for Figure 8 run.
e-Fitness Log: You need to fill it out for Friday's, 11/6/09, ABC Workout in the Gym.
IS HOMEWORK ASSIGNED THIS WEEK?
No homework will be posted for this week. You will have HW#1 due on Friday this week. I originally said Wednesday, but, since we do not have school, I extended the due date to Friday.
ARE THERE ANY ASSIGNMENTS DUE THIS WEEK?
Yes, HW #1 is due on Friday, 11/6.

ANNOUNCEMENTS/REMINDERS
-Please read through the new Flag Rugby page and get yourself familiar with it. It will help to cut down on time during class to "explain" and can instead spend more time "playing".
